The technology of ready-mixed concrete arrived in India in the nineties and RMC-India is proud to be one of the pioneers of this technology in India. The Company’s ready-mixed concrete operations commenced from Mumbai. Aided by the growth in housing and infrastructure, the Company was able to expand its network of RMC plants rapidly. Initially, the Company’s RMC operations spread to all major metropolitan cities in the country and then |

further to certain other big and medium towns. Currently, this network comprises of more than 50 state-of-the-art ready-mixed concrete plants located throughout the length and breadth of the country. |
Besides ready-mixed concrete, the Company has also entered in the aggregates quarrying and processing business with effect from October 2000. Presently, it is operating seven aggregate manufacturing units in the Western and Southern regions of the country. |
